Isn’t it true that God loves everyone? Rom.9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. John 17:9 (Jesus) I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. Psm. 7:11… God is angry with the wicked every day. I feel that I am a decent person with morals, and I am not wicked. Psm 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together be-come filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (also Romans 3:10-12) Psm. 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter with their tongue.
If this is so, and I am such a wicked person, what would God do to me? Rev. 14:10-11 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation: and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Hell is not real, is it? Things can’t be that bad. Matt. 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Isa. 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves.
So does that mean that at the end of the world everyone will be brought to life again to be judged and sent to hell? John 5:28-29 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
So, if I trust in Christ as my Substitute, as the One punished for my sins, then I will not have to worry about Hell anymore?1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all un-righteousness. John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. Rom 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace. Rom 6:18 being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
What does it mean to “Believe on Him?”
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
So, there is no way to escape Hell, except through Jesus Christ? And all other religions– what about them? Will their followers go to hell?
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 1:11-12 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Phil.2:9-10 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should (SHALL) bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Must I belong to a church to worship?
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves to-gether, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
But so many churches are hypocritical and apostate. Why should I bother?
1 King 19:18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him. Jer. 23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? Saith the LORD. Eph 4: 11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some, evangelist; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
I do not want to go to hell. What can I do?
Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; Luke 18:7-8 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? John 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
If I know so little about Christ, how can I know more about him?
2 Tim 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Does this mean I have to surrender everything to God?
John 12:24-26 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal. If any man serve me, let him fol-low me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
I know that people die suddenly every day, and many are taken by surprise. But that won’t happen to me. 1 Thess. 5:1-3 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
Besides being the time for Judgment Day, what else will happen to the end of the world?
2 Peter 3:10-13 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heaven shall passed away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dis-solved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
Where are you going to spend eternity?
Matt: 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, And few there be that find it. and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Why does God Give us these warnings? Acts 17: 30-31…but now commandeth all men every where to
repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
